I fell in love with Belgian beer a few years ago during a trip to Belgium. When I’m back to Hong Kong, what I can do is to recollect how pleasant the taste was...now, I’d gladly introduce you to the Paradise for Belgian Beer Lovers- Frites Belgium on Tap!
If you’ve been to Belgium before, you should be deeply impressed by the delicious mussels and chilled beer there! However, I’m not writing about Belgium this time; I’m glad to introduce you and those Belgian food and beer lovers a place that they can’t miss – Frites Belgium on Tap in Central!
You may have the feeling of entering a local bar and restaurant in Europe starting from the moment you step foot in this wonderful place. The decoration of the interiors are decent and classic, which fit in well in this spacious restaurant.
With more than 70 bottled Belgian beer and several draught beer for customers to choose from and yes, they even call the beer menu the Beer Bible, it’s without a doubt, the unique Paradise of Belgian Beer Lovers!
From the most common Hoegaarden beer to some Abbey/Trappist Beer, from dark beer to fruit beer (with a strong fruity aroma and sweet taste with cherry beer being the most famous one of all!) that even the nephalists would fall in love with, any beer that you imagine can be found here! Too many choices and if you can’t decide which one to pick at this moment, the owner of the restaurant is so considerate that he designed a Beer Platter to save those miserable souls, which make tasting of the top 5 most popular Belgium Draught Beer at the same time possible!
Do you think that beer is just an inexpensive drink? Then, try the one named “Bush de Prestige” in the Beer Bible, the price of this 750ml bottled beer is comparable to a bottle of champagne! (worth more then USD120 per bottle!) Just wanna go for it one day!
Won’t it be excellent to have some nice dishes while drinking the tasty beer? The mussels there are incredibly delicious! Don’t miss the bread that comes with the mussels, its sponge-like texture is perfect for absorbing the creamy mussels sauce, which makes it hard for us to resist it! Beside mussels, the lamb rack is another must-order dish and there are many others that are worth trying. Ooh…lala, I just can’t help drooling whenever I think about those yummy dishes!
Beer lovers! Don’t hesitate anymore, please come and enjoy your beer in this unique Beer Paradise!
P.S. Just finished a bottle of Hoegaarden while completing this article. Last but not the least, here comes “The Frite’s Prayer”! Barmen!
