There was cake, there was live music and there were great times had by all in honour of La Sardina! Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate.
The festivities started off on a beautiful summer evening with passing people wondering what the hell was going on in this new fish market on Queen Street. Once inside they discovered a nautical haven for any thirsty sailor after a long day at sea. Lucky for us we had two special guest community members joining us for the night hay_nako_luwis and ashleeashlee at the ready to snap every action! Check out their wicked shots taken with La Sardina El Capitan.
The time has come to launch our amazing new Lomography Art Lens - the Petzval lens. What better way to celebrate than by throwing a party on August 21 at the Lomography Gallery Store Soho? There will be live music from London-based folk singer Denai Moore, lots of bubbly and the chance to meet the lens face-to-face! Read on for full details.
We had an amazing time this weekend for Film Photography Day! We celebrated by taking a big yellow school bus to Coney Island then headed back to the shop for a party. Thanks to everyone who came and made this year's festivities memorable!
Do you love Lomography? Do you live in Tehran? Do you love to party? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we've got great news for you! You and all your friends are cordially invited to celebrate with us this Friday!
November is almost here and so is winter -- we might as well embrace both. This coming month we have the Lomo'Instant Launch Party (that everyone should attend because it's going to be FUN!) with a follow up workshop, a La Sardina light painting session, and a planned trip to the Winter Wonderland with the LC-A+ to get us in the mood for the holiday season!
I love my La Sardina camera and it was my first Lomography camera. But as time goes by, I've seen how often it's been used and how much I've abused it. There is a simple solution for this: the La Sardina Dresses!
I have good memories of Tagaytay Highlands. There had been times when some of my friends and I would spend the weekend there, playing all sorts of sports and having our bodies healed in the warm and lapping jacuzzi pool. But those were distant memories. I was able to go back to this place, but only for an afternoon, and tried to remember the good old days.
You’ve shouted your analogue love from the rooftops and worn your heart on your sleeve – Now it’s time to take it to the next level and wear it on your skin! Our new Lomography Tattoos are fun, easy to apply and come in five designs.
A few months ago, Lomography made available a whole range of pinhole cameras made out of premium wood. Interested on knowing how good they are, I brought the medium format one on my last trip to Germany.
As a professional photography graduate, Fernando never goes out without carrying at least one camera and treats it as an integral part of his body. Although he uses both digital and analog gears, he still regards using film as a more intimate way of creating images. Let's all welcome our newcomer from Brazil, Fernando Monteiro.
Coinciding with the relaunch of the Lomography community website is the debut of one of the Magazine's newest series, Meet the Innovators. Here, we'll be talking to some of the game changers in the field of photography to get a closer look on what they do as well as find out their personal insights. For our opening salvo we proudly introduce Cat Ong, Lomography's very own Head of Optic Product Development who counts the research and development of the LC-A family, Russar and Petzval Art Lenses, Diana F+, and Lomo'Instant, among many others, as some of his projects.
