There was cake, there was live music and there were great times had by all in honour of La Sardina! Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate.
The festivities started off on a beautiful summer evening with passing people wondering what the hell was going on in this new fish market on Queen Street. Once inside they discovered a nautical haven for any thirsty sailor after a long day at sea. Lucky for us we had two special guest community members joining us for the night hay_nako_luwis and ashleeashlee at the ready to snap every action! Check out their wicked shots taken with La Sardina El Capitan.
Hot off an online collaboration with acclaimed rock band R.E.M., (now extendend) Lomography NYC is excited to host a screening of 'R.E.M. by MTV.' Celebrating 35 years of music greatness, we'll be spinning REM classics on vinyl before screening the much anticipated film. Join us on July 28th for an evening of sweet tunes and summer refreshments. Come in at 6 p.m. for refreshments, and screening begins at 7 p.m. FREE!
Do you love Lomography? Do you live in Tehran? Do you love to party? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we've got great news for you! You and all your friends are cordially invited to celebrate with us this Friday!
November is almost here and so is winter -- we might as well embrace both. This coming month we have the Lomo'Instant Launch Party (that everyone should attend because it's going to be FUN!) with a follow up workshop, a La Sardina light painting session, and a planned trip to the Winter Wonderland with the LC-A+ to get us in the mood for the holiday season!
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)
As a wildlife cameraman and photographer, Ian Llewellyn has worked on a number of television projects. The UK-based lensman breaks free from the strict confines of his profession by engaging in monochrome photography. His personal work is a plethora of abstract and experimental imagery, created in a style distinctly his own. Llewellyn is an ardent user of a Leica Monochrom camera, on which he mounted the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Lens, producing the most imaginative, phantasmic results.
Although its existence has always been known among locals, it was only in 1913 when the rest of the world was introduced to the Inca site of Machu Picchu through an expedition headed by Yale University and professor Hiram Bingham.
Really want to bring your film photos to life? We’re now offering totally analogue fine art prints in a host of large sizes and formats! Carefully enlarged from your negatives onto premium photographic paper by lab professionals, each picture is a unique piece of craftsmanship.
