Bluebell Railway = Vintage Advertisements Galore!

We took a trip down to the Bluebell Railway in Surrey one sunny weekend in May. It was like going back in time!

The Bluebell Railway is a heritage railway line in Sussex. The station we visited was Sheffield Park and there were lots of old style metal posters – fantastic photo opportunity!

The trains themselves were pretty awesome too.

Choo choo!

The interiors of the trains are wonderful in their 1920s style and can be hired out for parties – brilliant for a quirky wedding. I didn’t ride on them this time as we missed the last journey, but it’s definitely a place I’d like to go back to, particularly for the yummy honeycomb ice cream that they sell on the platform!
