Long dark wavy hair and big deep eyes. Elisa, is the photographer of the delicious shooting for Essen - a Taste Magazine, taken by our beloved LC-A. Let's hear about her experience and see her analogue interpretation born from the combination of food, fashion and photography...
But your real identity is:
I think I’m still looking for it.
If you were a superhero who you would be and with what super power?
I definitly would be the invisible woman but I want to be seen only from who I like.
Where did you grow up and where is your “home” now:
I grow up in the countryside near the Varese’s lakes but my “home” will be London in a couple of months.
“Digital or Analogue” it’s like “brain or heart”. What do you think?
I have never tried digital and I don’t feel the need.
I like analogue because is imprevedible and sometimes you can have good surpreises, especially after some experiments.
What did you think when ESSEN asks you to shoot with a Lomography camera?
I thought it would be a nice occasion to test a new camera and I start looking for the right camera for what I had in mind.
Why did you choose a LOMO LC-A? It has been a flirt or a love story?
I choose the LC-A because I wanted to shot with a 35mm roll and I’ve never tried it, unlike the Holga and Diana. It was a 12 hours intense flirt.
What’s your favorite pic of the shooting and why?
My favorite is the one with the painting. The man in the painting is my forefather at the beginning of the nine hundred.
I like the contrast between the ironic scene and the austeruty of the painting, too forced for a child. It gives him a bit of innocence.
How long have you shooted in analogue and why have you been passioned about Lomography?
My passion for photography started almost one year ago. I discover Lomography when I saw some pics taken by the Diana. I felt in love with its colors.
Choose a rule to add to the Lomography’s 10 Golden Roules
