Getting tired of wasting money to develop the traditional black and white film? Some shop cost you huge sum of money for that roll? Tired of waiting for the shop to develop your film or send them to the 'other hands' as they can't do them all by themselves? There's one product that will surely solve all the problem that circling around your head
Why not turn in to Ilford XP2 Super 400? It’s cheap and it’s one of the most unique b&w film as it was meant to be developed by C41 chemical. So you can develop the film anywhere, not only in certain labs. Some shops perhaps have to send your traditional B&W film to be developed somewhere else and in advance increase the cost to develop the film. So if you choose this film, all the recurring problems meet dead end.
Ilford XP2 Super 400 is suitable for you to shoot in any condition , cloudy or under bright sunshine. Please do be prepared to have grainy pictures as it was a 400 ISO film (higher ISO = more grainy = less time to capture light). A 400 ISO film needs 1/2 time to capture enough light being compared to 200 ISO film. Hope you can understand. You can read about film speed here. Some say that’s it’s not a great B&W film being compared to the traditional B&W film. I do agree with them but some of us just want to save some money and time right? Of course quality always wins.
Last one is make sure that you tell the shop owners to scan your film in B&W mode (if you don’t have film scanner at home) because some may forget that it’s a B&W film and scan them in normal negative mode and produce sepia-coloured images*. Make sure you keep your film in the fridge to keep its freshness :)

The founder of The Pop-Up Pinhole Co., Kelly Angood, has been handcrafting pinhole cameras from scratch since 2010. After developing a huge online following from one of her early pinhole designs, she embarked on a mission to design an affordable, functional pinhole camera that could be constructed all in the comfort of your own home — and it had to look great too! Following an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, her mission was realized. Read on to see how it happened and what's next for Kelly and The Pop-Up Pinhole Company!
