It's Not Just You Who Likes Coffee... Your Film Roll Does Too!

8

Letting your roll plunge in a cup of freshly boiled coffee creates such nice colour-bubbles!

While I was drinking my coffee, I thought that this could be the next ingredient for a LabRat!

I took a glass, put some coffee powder in it and started to boil the water. I then let the film roll plunge in the freshly boiled coffee for about 20 minutes and let the pulled-out film dry over the heater in a dark room. While i was waiting, my mind painted millions of pictures of how the results could be. I expected some brown, sepia-like photos, but the pictures came out different!

Here are some results out of my coffee-album

Do you do this before or after you expose the film?

Nice. I wonder what would happen if you tried this, and then developed your film with coffee (Google!)? Not the nice colors, obviously, but the dripmarks? Hmmmm.... *puts the kettle on*

Hello, do you reckon it would work, if after exposure, dipped it in the coffee, and then gave the film to a lab to develop? would the lab be unhappy? I hope I can
