Pop-Tastic Popcam!

Cheap pop camera, check! ebay win, check! Sunny day check! Snap snap snap, check!

Here is a quick review on my newest camera purchase.

I knew it was cheap, nasty, and cheap… but I was really looking forward to playing with this multi-colored toy!

I had missed the delivery so I had to rush down to the post office to pick it up. I got it, and wanted to get playing with it straight away… but it was that horrible plastic wrapping that only scissors can break through!!! Grrr!

So I rushed back home, stabbed the camera to freedom and started playing around. The instructions state that it has to be used outdoors…LIES! I took some decent shots indoors with 400 and 200 asa film. my first target was the kitty! Muhahahaha! She usually hates her picture being taken but the weird noise of the camera when photos are being taken interested her! Explorette 1 – Kitty 0!

Overall I am impressed with this little camera, it does what it says on the tin, and you can get some fun interesting shots out of it. (Oh ignore the nerdy shot of me with the tongue! I had greasy hair and wanted to test how fast the shots fired! haha)

Oh, be warned, some labs don’t look at the pictures and just cut normally which results in your 4 photos chopped in 1/2. Bad times! next time I shall chop them up myself!

I've seen this at few stores around Melbourne.

I got a popcam at an art museum near my university, it's so much fun! Didn't have as much luck indoors (except with a flashlight), but now I know to try again :).
