Mash-up your portraits with the LC-Wide

3

The LC-Wide can shoot full frame, square frame and half frame. But with this super simple tip you can also create beautiful shots and endless panoramas that layer and merge like a work of art.

The LC-Wide shoots ‘proper’ half frames like the Diana Mini, with two clear shots either side of eachother. However, if you simply leave out the mask from inside the camera you can create endless panoramas, and gorgeous merged images with overlapping edges. At first glance it looks like a multiple exposure, but on further inspection you see that though some parts of the frame are layered, others are perfectly clear and in focus, so it makes for great self portraits.

This is a really unique effect, and so easy to do! And the best part is that because you don’t need to use the mask inside the camera, you can switch around and shoot half or full frame all on the same roll. Easy!

Thats why i use my Diana F+ with the 35mm Back without any Mask in the Normal Mode, that brings the same Effect... Like the Pictures, good Tipster.
