On 29th March 2011, (<a href="http://www.lomography.com/homes/danlev">Danlev</a>) and I were in London. We planned a journey that would take us from the Lomography Gallery Store by Carnaby Street to the East London store in Spitalfields.
From Piccadily Circus we headed over to the Lomography Store. After a great little visit, a purchase of a Fisheye 2 for Danlev and a collection of some prophecies posters, we started out for East London.
Passing through Covent Garden and Soho we eventually stopped for lunch at the Lowlander for a well-earned beverage (recommended for a wide selection of great beers).
Following this ‘refueling’, we continued our journey. Passing the Thames River and its sights along the way. This included the Tower of London with the Traitors Gate.
As well as Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Our journey took us up past St. Katherine’s Docks where we stopped for a quick coffee. Using several cameras throughout the day I switched between my LC-A, Holga and a little toy camera, the Eximus Wide & Slim.
Finally, we reached our destination. The Gallery Store in Spitalfields, East London. A great day and some fun Lomography.
We are back with another exciting <a href="http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tags/14084-doubles-with-you"> Doubles With You! </a>This time we are zooming in on this candy-toned album by Erika Grendelova, otherwise known as <a href="http://www.lomography.com/homes/erikagrendel">erikagrendel</a>, and Marta Huguet Cuadrado, aka <a href="http://www.lomography.com/homes/marta1901">marta1901</a>!
<i>Editor's Note: The past several years saw <b><a href="http://www.lomography.com/homes/maliha">Maliha</a></b> frequently moving from one place to another, a sort of nomad who likes the thrill of starting anew and finding her place in every city she stays at. In the last decade she has spent in the USA, Maliha has stayed at six different cities in five different states. Currently, Maliha is based in Denver, Colorado, and "Transient Living," a new series in the Lomography magazine, documents her experiences and the ways that she has come to call this city her home.</i>

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
Jürgen Bürgin finds pleasure in strolling through the hustle and bustle of the world's biggest cities and shooting street photographs without being recognized. For Lomography, however, the Film PR agent and photographer from Berlin took a different path, literally! We gave him a Lomo LC-A+ camera for his journey to the French Provence and waited in anticipation for his travel pictures away from the big city.
He expresses his photographic thoughts with brief words and manifests his photographic mind with simple images. For Sean Marc Lee, photography is a part life, and it happens naturally, like sleeping or breathing. This brings us to the question: how would he practice photography with the new Petzval Lens? Let's accompany him on his Petzval journey.
In this new series, we talk to film fanatics from all around the UK about their passion for film photography and the best places to shoot in their home town. Today we meet David Scard, a Broadcast Technician from London.
We've got a great month of workshops and events planned for the month of August. The perfect way to end this beautiful summer in Chicago! So grab your cameras (or borrow from us) and let's take some pictures!
I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum's Friday Late, an event that takes place every last Friday evening of the month. For March 2014, the London borough of Tottenham was invited to curate an evening of creativity. There were a number of events that went on ranging from music and art to fashion and film. Accompanied by my LC-A+ and Fisheye No. 2, here are my highlights of that evening in photographs.
People seek extraordinary experiences while traveling, but not everyone gets to have an adventure of a lifetime. When lomographer Stephane Heinz (popularly known as vicuna in the Lomography community) saw the opportunity, he took the chance to travel and live miles away from his hometown in France. He and his wife, Kathi, came back home with a luggage full of valuable experiences and life lessons. Vicuna tells us about his four-year adventure in French Polynesia in this travel special.
