Proven Provia Expired '98

A curiosity buy of an old stock Fuji Chrome Film, which expired in 1998.

I just bought an old stock of Fuji Chrome Provia 100. I’m so excited yet very curious to try it on my LC-A+ as the expiry date written is 1998!

A long lost 40 rolls of it is waiting to be exposed. And so I used it on our lomo walk hunting (again with adi_totp and also mgf). The lomo walk mission this time is around the old train stations and surround it.

And when I got it developed I was very surprised that the result is quite satisfying, well at least for me. The color and the grain is so attractive it makes me want try another roll of it.

Here it is the Proven Provia 100 expired ’98:

Shinjuku Park in full bloom: A perfect time to use expired films and travel to the past!

I went to Shinjuku Park in order to celebrate spring and enjoy the Japanese tradition of "hanami," which means the "contemplation of cherry blossoms." I tried to capture the beauty of cherry trees with my Lubitel 166B loaded with an expired roll of Agfa Portrait 160 film. I obtained a sepia effect on my photos, and I felt as if I just traveled through old Japan.

The European Dream - Selfies from Oranienplatz: Exhibition in Berlin

In more ways than one, Lomography is an art form as much as it is an effective tool to communicate. This is proven in the politically-driven exhibition “Selfies from Oranienplatz," of which the opening event will be taking place on the 16th of October as part of the European Month of Photography in Berlin. A Salute to the Masters: Football (A Tribute to Lothar Rübelt)

This is a tribute to a great Austrian sports photographer, Lothar Rübelt. In an era with no high speed films available, he was able to immortalize wonderful moments in sports - from diving to gymnastics and football. In creating this tribute, I took a series of photos of an amateur football match using expired black and white film developed using an uncommon chemical. Take a look after the jump!

Perfect Combination: Fuji Instax Mini Film and the Diana Instant Back

Just recently I asked myself why I would want to write about a film like the Fuji Instax Mini, because usually this film is the only one available for Fuji Instax cameras. But then it hit me! It can be an alternative to many other instant films, since I can load almost any film into my Diana F+, other medium and 135 format cameras, and of course the Fuji Instax Mini.
