Warwick Castle is a Merlin-run attraction for a day out with the whole family and is especially great in the lovely spring sunshine, with the beautiful peacock gardens being the most beautiful place to soak up the sunshine.
I had a lovely day out last weekend wherein we crammed in a lot of activities, Warwick Castle being one of them. The castle itself is absolutely gorgeous, proper English and there is plenty to see and do in the castle and grounds.
I enjoyed the entire day but the best part, given the lovely sun we had been having, was relaxing and taking photos on the beautiful peacock gardens. There was bunting, hedges, and birds aplenty.
I was initially a bit worried that I wouldn’t get to see the birds with their tail feathers on display but I was not disappointed.
The only downside to Warwick Castle and gardens is the cost as it now costs £21 for one adult admission. I still totally recommend a visit though, even if it is only to see the peacocks!
