I always like to watch the city from inside my ride. A few years back, I was surprised to see paintings and graffiti in every corner of every neighborhood.
One of the biggest urban changes that happened all over the world, particularly in Rio de Janeiro, was the rise of artists bent on taking to the streets for self-expression.
There is something about this new tradition, how it changes as the days pass, as people add to the drawings or paintings. It’s such a nice thing to pass on to other generations, who can also add to the never-finished works of art.
The ephemeral nature of these works, and the fact that many of them have no visible signature, make them more interesting. They are gifts to the city, art that does not require status to be displayed and appreciated. Artists who wish for their designs to change, evolve, degenerate a bit, perhaps mingle with the local fauna and flora, will find this avenue appealing.

Every year in the beginning of September, a small Italian town situated a few miles from my city of Como hosts an ancient fair dedicated to the Virgin Mary: the Fair of Our Lady of Rogoredo. This series of images fresh from my darkroom was taken using a roll of HP5+ film loaded inside my wonderful Horizon Perfekt.
On the last Saturday of July, the old district of Borgo Vico hosted an art and music festival. There was also a graffiti contest, and the winner will exhibit his work at the Como Business Center for Expo 2015. I used my Zorki 4 loaded with an Ilford FP4+ film to document the event. I focused on the young artists who, amid the swirl of activity, had to concentrate on their large-scale pieces.
My dad and I have been riding our bicycles for as long as I can remember. We had no camera back then, so I only have the pictures from our recent rides. Each ride to the island of Khortitsa today is like a reunion with my childhood and my father's care.
The story between the Spinner 360 and I goes way back to the year 2010, when Lomography decided to send me a beta model of the Spinner 360 to test. It was a complete surprise! I thought, "What the hell is that?" as I first took this camera out of the package. Then, when my little brother grabbed it from me and pulled the cord, it buzzed and turned 360°! We all had the same expression: "Whoa..."

I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum's Friday Late, an event that takes place every last Friday evening of the month. For March 2014, the London borough of Tottenham was invited to curate an evening of creativity. There were a number of events that went on ranging from music and art to fashion and film.
