Get out and see the animals! I love to go see the animals on a sunny day; the latest zoo I have been to is Fuengirola Biopark. And it is probably the best zoo I have been to yet.
The animals are in habitats as opposed to enclosures, there is a great range of animals from tigers to frogs. If you do go you, have to go on a Lima tour, you get to go inside Madagascar Island and learn about the limas as they jump all around and over you!
The great thing about the Biopark is how close you can get to the animals; you can see the habitats from many different angles. Get up close to the meerkats and do your best to compare the market impression, see the big blue birds with afro hair and stand inches away from the big crocodile!
As an analogue photographer, you have probably already heard someone speak about the "sunny 16" rule when it comes to determining the correct shutter speed and aperture combination. But what's this about? Read on and I will tell you.
It turns out that a lot of hard work went through the making of your favorite Disney animated flick, even more than what you probably know! Learn what rotoscoping is and see a few examples of it after the cut.
In your daily photo practice, a slight difference in focal length can have a huge impact on your images. Does it adjust everything in the photo? Do I get that entire steeple on the image without having to go so far back and then shooting in the sun? How exactly does a fisheye lens work? Read on and find out the answer.

You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
Outer space is an awe-inspiring, wondrous thing, yet it's something that only a lucky few of us would ever see firsthand. Thankfully, we've been getting glimpses of its beauty through photographs captured by those sent out to various missions.
Every year I get the winter blues. I start imagining the feel of the sunrays, ice cold beer after a long summer day, and the endless hours spent on the beach. I have captured moments, memories, and dreams this year, which is my favorite thing to do. This is a short version and visual diary of my year 2014.
There are quite a few perks that come with working for a film photography company, and the best perk of all is testing out the latest cameras. I can remember buying my LC-A back in 2009 and being really inspired to shoot film again. When the LC-A 120 came along, I couldn't wait to try it out around London. Join me as I test out this super medium format beauty.
