Lomo meeting Nijmegen

Zondag 13 maart was het zover, de eerste lomomeeting in Nijmegen!

Zondag 13 maart had ik met een aantal lomovrienden en familie afgesproken in Nijmegen op centraal station. In eerste instantie had ik een blog gemaakt, maar hier was niet heel veel reactie op gekomen en ik wilde het al bijna laten schieten. Gelukkig nam Maarten van lomographyNLD contact met me op, hij stuurde me een pakketje met posters, stickers en filmolletjes. Nu moest ik het natuurlijk wel door laten gaan.

Een paar dagen van te voren kreeg ik nog een paar berichtjes van andere die ook wilden komen, maar alledrie wisten ze het nog niet zeker. Dus zondag toog ik met mijn pakketje naar het centraal station. Daar zag ik een meisje verloren staan te kijken, ik vroeg; lomo? En ja hoor, de eerste was er, @angelf uit de Filipijnen. Gelijk daarna kwam er nog iemand aangelopen, dat was @achocolatemoose (wonend in Den Haag), volgend door @luasan (een Braziliaanse uit Duitsland). Wat een verrassing! Niet veel later kwamen @elefteria (half grieks) en haar vriend @ismikk (beide wonen nu in Enschede) er ook aan. Onderweg naar het centrum ontmoetten we @tsjort (uit Rusland). Wow wat een mixed gezelschap!

In het begin is het natuurlijk een beetje aftasten wat je van elkaar vind. Tsjort, elefteria en ismikk kende ik al, dus dat scheelde (voor mij althans). Gelukkig hadden we ook een leuk projectje, namelijk de posters en stickers die opgestuurd waren. Je hebt een doel en kunt gelijk aan de slag. We hebben een rondje door het centrum gelopen, wat verteld over de geschiedenis van Nijmegen en natuurlijk heel veel foto’s gemaakt. Helaas is bij ieder van ons een rollletje mislukt, of door overbelichting of door een fout van het lab, of een kapotte camera. Maar dat is het risico als je analoog schiet.

Dit was een meeting die zeker voor herhaling vatbaar is. En ik wil Maarten nog bedanken voor het pakketje met posters die hij opgestuurd heeft.
