[Requested Location] Café Gartensalon, Munich

Café Gartensalon is probably one of the most wonderful and most colourful cafés in Munich at the moment. If you have some spare time, you should definitely go and try the home-made cakes there!

You can find Café Gartensalon at Türkenstraße 90/ Amalienpassage. While there are dogs and children playing outside the café, surrounded by dozens of colourful plants, you can not only order coffee inside, but also eat incredibly delicious, home-made cakes and (on Sundays, from 10am to 2pm) the finger-licking good breakfast/brunch buffet.

What’s more, there are paintings hanging from the walls which you can also buy, and there are painted chairs and self-made things everywhere. The Gartensalon is really a place to feel comfy at, especially because there are lively colours everywhere – and loads of great things to take pictures of.:)

I adore the home-made cakes and jams and love the fact that they are so dog-friendly – and I always felt welcome and kind of at home there.

After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!

    An Afternoon in Tagaytay Highlands

I have good memories of Tagaytay Highlands. There had been times when some of my friends and I would spend the weekend there, playing all sorts of sports and having our bodies healed in the warm and lapping jacuzzi pool. But those were distant memories. I was able to go back to this place, but only for an afternoon, and tried to remember the good old days.

    My Vinyl Paradise

“I would like to buy a jukebox.” I've said this many times, so 4 years ago my ex-girlfriend went to my home with a little package. "It's a present for you," she said. I opened it and found a 12" vinyl disc, the single "Woman" by Wolfmother. It was wonderful. "If you will finally buy a jukebox, you shouldn't miss playing this song," she said.
