Great portfolio on his site! And about other films as well, it's worth looking at his photographic work !

Has the WideLux some focus settings? That's one thing i miss at my Horizon Perfekt. With open aperture the distance to the object has to be more than 5 meters. Even with iso 800 films it would not be possible to produce such great pictures as Jeff does. But of course, the widelux costs about 3 times more than the H. Perfekt.
    great pictures and post, btw!

This ist what Jeff Bridges says about working with the WideLux:
"The Wide-Lux is a fickle mistress; its viewfinder isn't accurate, and there's no manual focus, so it has an arbitrariness to it, a capricious quality. I like that. It's something I aspire to in all my work --- a lack of preciousness that makes things more human and honest, a willingness to receive what's there in the moment, and to let go of the result. Getting out of the way seems to be one of the main tasks for me as an artist." (www.jeffbridges.com/camera.html)

I don't have a WideLux. But this really is how things are. This is the lomographic lifestyle.

Maybe he's able to to that close-ups because of the Widelux having a 26mm lens and the Horizons a 40mm lens. Also the Widelux has a fixed focus at 1.5 meters (5 ft), what the Horizon can only achieve with an aperture of f/11 or smaller.
Whatever, i love his pictures and wish i had a Widelux! :-)

My guess is that his using some high-speed film for his indoor shots - 1600 or 3200 ASA B&W. Great work. It isn't just a gimmick. He really knows how to use that camera and has a love for film and photography in general.

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.

There are about 127 active volcanoes in Indonesia, one of the most popular ones being Mount Papandayan, located 2,665 meters above sea level in Garut, West Java. My boyfriend and I usually go hiking together so we decided to spend our long weekend holiday (three days/two nights) at Mount Papandayan.
