Tibidabo is Barcelona's theme park, which is an old and magical place that is ideal for getting lost in. Of course, it's also an ideal location to take beautiful photographs of especially on clear and sunny days.
I was once asked what my photographic obsession was. My answer was: theme parks.
In Barcelona we’re lucky enough to have the Tibidabo. It is a theme park on Tibidabo Mountain, part of the Collserola Mountain Range. At 512 metres, it’s the highest point in Barcelona. It covers an area of about 7 hectares and is the oldest theme park in Spain, the second oldest in Europe and one of the oldest in the world.
The Ferris wheel, the Carousel, the Plane and the Talaia are the most emblematic rides of the park. So great is my obsession that I go there whenever possible. Getting to the Magic Mountain is not at all easy, given that it’s a little far from the city centre, but the experience is well worth it and the views are not to be missed. I’ve already introduced my Fisheye, Holga 135 and Supersampler to my favourite place, now do the same with your cameras!
If you take a left out of Regent St, down a windy lane, past a wise old man with long fingernails, over a wooden bridge and through a giant metal gate you'll find a very magical place. Yep, it's the Winter Wonderland Festival in Hyde Park! It's free to get in and it is the perfect place to get some awesome Petzval shots!

The 2015 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on June 6. It is a place full of history and is also the only football stadium with a blue track course. Some say it is the most beautiful stadium in the world, and I totally agree with them. But then agai,n I might be biased because it is the home court of my favorite team, Hertha BSC Berlin—my blue-white bloodline.
