Courtship: Around 5 years maybe?

What is his/ her favorite camera?
Lomo LC-A+

Your favorite camera?
Lomo LC-A+

How did you two meet?
At the time I met sha, were were both Lomographers already. We met when a mutual friend invited me to a Lomography event.

Any interesting Lomography moment that happened between you two?
My boyfriend (actually more of a husband!) is not romantic. He never gave me anything special, so I cannot remember being impressed much. Until it was my birthday a year ago, and we did a special celebration. He did not bring flowers or presents, but he was gone for a bit and I found something in the pocket of my jeans. Looking at the backseat inside of the car was a parking ticket. I got a little disappointed but when I flipped it over to look at the back, it said, “Dear shanti, Happy Birthday. I love you” which he had written.

Which Lomography product would you like to give as a present and why?
Horizon Perfekt maybe? He has broken his Horizon 202. It’s the only Lomography camera that he does not have.

If you had a choice to go out with each other and travel with a camera, where would you go? Which scenes would you like to take a picture of?
Location is not important for the both of us. The park, the street, anywhere … as long as we are taking pictures of whatever that catches our attention.

Finally, a message to all Lomographers!
Enjoy the freedom of taking pictures with no rules.

Courtship: from 2005

What is his/ her favorite camera?
The Lomo LC-A+ think that suits her best. She does not care about the technical cameras, and the LC-A+ is simple to use.

Your favorite camera?
The Lomo LC-A+ – I always use the automatic exposure meter.

How did you two meet?
We met in 2005 at a Lomography event. Back then she was just a Lomographers rookie.

Any interesting Lomography moment that happened between you two?
May 21 was a special day in 2005. It was the day when we met in the Lomography event, and the Lomography Gallery Store in Taiwan also opened the same day. It’s a great coincidence!

Which Lomography product would you like to give as a present and why?
The Lubitel 166+ is very elegant, I’m sure she’ll enjoy shooting it. It can use 120 and 35mm film, and you can take great pictures with the beautiful lens.

If you had a choice to go out with each other and travel with a camera, where would you go? Which scenes would you like to take a picture of?
Iceland. Volcanoes, glaciers, colorful houses. It’s the most beautiful place in the world.

Finally, a message to all Lomographers!
Be positive! Grab your Lomography camera and enjoy life! You’ll take a lot of wonderful photos!

    5 City vs. Nature Scenes

Jungle, home, haven. The same words may apply to both city and nature. Though different they are linked. The city takes after the colors of flowers and animals; people mold their neighborhoods after the shapes of nature. Other similarities are accidental: the fun bit.
