The White Stripes Disbands!

17

In a move that shocked the world, The White Stripes have decided to call it quits. Read on for more information!

Say it ain’t so! The American rock duo, the White Stripes, composed of the songwriter Jack White and drummer Meg White, has just announced the end of their world-renowned band.

Here’s what they had to say to their loyal fans:

“The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful.”

Sincerely,
Meg and Jack White
The White Stripes

You can read the full announcement at their official site. So before its too late, you can still grab a Meg Diana+ and Jack Holga and keep the White Stripes together FOREVER. In the meantime, visit the White Stripes Lomography microsite to find out more about our analogue collaboration with them!

But the Meg Diana + sold out long ago! I saw some on sale on e-bay but too pricey...

Anyway, cheer up! Jack's side band, The Raconteurs, are as good as The White Stripes if not better! :o)
