New feature on your LomoHome - The camera shelf

We just launched a new feature on your LomoHome - the camera shelf.

We’ve been busy preparing a new feature for your LomoHome – the camera shelf! You can now show off which cameras you shoot with and display the list in your Home. To do so, first make sure that in the Lab you’ve tagged the camera you used to take each uploaded picture. We’ve made a revised list of the most common cameras Lomographers use, so make sure you choose the cameras which say (revised) next to them when tagging your photos. Once you’ve finished tagging photos, you can edit your LomoHome profile and add the cameras to your shelf. The cameras can be re-arranged, so feel free to put your favourite cameras first! Once you’ve added some cameras to your shelf, they’ll appear on the main page of your LomoHome.

Clicking on any camera in your shelf will load a page showing all photos you’ve taken with that camera. It’s a brand new way to browse your friends photos! We’ve also done a slight interface update to the Homes, and included a video here to show the camera shelf in action – enjoy!

Visit your home and try it out!

  29. rochellers

Cool! I had all my photos tagged with "Diana F+" and it wasn't showing up on my camera shelf, but when I changed it to "Lomography Diana F+" (which I guess it is, because it's a newie!) it showed up so I could assign it :D :D

I don't know if that's a bug that you guys might like to know about?

Anyway, thankyou! I can't wait to add more - I have a Zenit E that should be showing up any day now ^.^

Cool feature :), but could you add Diana F+ Mr. Pink, please?

  49. juditto
    juditto ·

Nope.. I fixed all my cameras as with official names like Lomography Diana Mini, Lomo Smena 8, Belomo Vilia and so on... But i just see only three cameras in there since at the beginning and these were the same: Lomo LC-A, Zenit 122 and Lubitel 2; that's all.

  50. chaoticsense

Please add KODAK Six-20 Brownie Junior and Braun Candy-2! :)

The feature is cool, but please add the Olympus Trip 35. Thank you!

  52. stormer

Agree with the others. User should be able to just add their cameras they use, easy and simple. Half of what I use I can't add. Good idea though.

  53. pinkpix

I also think we should be able to add our own camera's, I actively use about 10 camera's and only four of those I can add.

  57. pretletterp
    pretletterp ·

Is the list update-able? I hardly see any of my camera's on the 'revised' list since they're quite obscure or rare. I'd love to actually be able to add all of them.

  58. redryan
    redryan ·

Can you add Ricoh slx 500, please?

  59. johnnie-110
    johnnie-110 ·

I like this idea, but only one of my six cameras appears on the list.

  60. jacekplacek
    jacekplacek ·

Sad but true- unfortunately- there's no "Zorki 5" on the "revised" list.
I know- it takes time to do it all, but... please! That's a classic! ;)
    And other Zorkis are there...
