Diana World Tour Workshops Sydney

Within the Diana World Tour Stop in Sydney, a number of workshops will also be held to share the true fun and secret tips of Lomography Diana F+.

Lomography Australia invites you to register to one or all of four Sydney based workshops in the month of February. Of course it’s all about the Diana+ and everything she is capable of! The workshop tutors are all round good guys Tim Hixson and Ian Tatton. All workshops are $20 and based in Paddington.

1 | Introduction to the Diana F+ | Saturday 5th February 2011
Time: 12 – 2pm
Tutor: Tim Hixson

Come along to discover why the Diana F+ is the world’s most popular analogue princess! This workshop will cover how to load and unload 120mm film into the Diana F+ and how the camera works. Discover the magic of ‘light leaks’ and other tricks. Don’t forget to bring your Diana F+!

2 | Introduction to the Diana Mini | Saturday 5th February 2011
Time: 2 – 5pm
Tutor: Ian Tatton

The Diana Mini is a 35mm camera. You’ll be shown how to load and unload this pocket-size friend. Find out how to get the best results from the Diana Mini and all its possibilities. Discover how film works, film speeds, multi- exposures etc. Don’t forget to bring your Diana Mini!

3 | Diana F+ Intermediate/Advance | Saturday 12th February 2011
Time: 12 – 3pm
Tutor: Tim Hixson

This workshop covers those who already have a camera and want to learn more. Develop a deeper understanding of how the Diana F+ works. We will look at great plastic camera images and find out how they were made. Bring along your camera, some 120mm, any questions, sample shots and reference images you love. This workshop will cover long exposures, multiple exposures, film types, light leaks, scanning and getting the best out of your photography and the Diana F+.

4 | Accessorise your Diana | Saturday 12th February 2011
Time: 3:30 – 5pm
Tutor: Ian Tatton

The Diana Accessory Course – featuring all the ‘bits’ that are compatible with the Diana F+. Filters, lenses and attachments, flash attachments, instant back, 35mm back, cable releases and other gadgets. See how these wonderful accessories can make your Diana photographic experience more fun and exciting.

The Diana World Tour is on display from 3 February – 19 February 2011 at Blender Gallery.
