Tate Modern is one of the most important art galleries in the UK, apart from being one of the favourite places to visit in London. It is situated in an old electric power station and has a permanent modern art collection which include works by Picasso, Warhol, and Dalí.
Just ten minutes walking from St. Paul´s cathedral and crossing the Millennium Bridge, you’ll stumble upon a magnificent building where the museum is placed. It is a singular building with a big chimney that reminds us that in the old days it was an electric power station.
The museum has some temporary expositions presenting important works of modern art. It also has some permanent expositions which include works of famous artists as Andy Warhol or the Spanish Picasso, and Dalí.
The expositions consist of not only paintings, but also sculptures, films, pictures, and anything that an artist can create.
