Map It And Tag It Rumble - Liverpool!

Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough of Merseyside, England along the eastern side of the Mersey Estuary. It was founded as a borough in 1207 and was granted city status in 1880. Liverpool is the fourth largest city in the United Kingdom (third largest in England) and has a population of 435,500, and lies at the centre of the wider Liverpool Urban Area, which has a population of 816,216. And a band called The Beatles came from there - I doubt you've heard of them.

I worked in Liverpool for around 10 weeks at the Crown Court , working at an EEP court room operator, I won’t go into detail or I will bore the pants off you. One of the best things about the job was the lunch breaks, anything up to 3 hours long! This gave me lots of time to explore the area of Liverpool I was in . The court was just off James St , only an 8-min walk from the Albert Dock and a 5-min walk from the centre of Liverpool. So on my lunch time I would go out snapping away !

The Albert Dock.
The back of the Albert Dock.
James St Station (I’d get on and off here every day when I was working in Liverpool)
And a few more shots taken while exploring Liverpool

If you ever get the chance to go to Liverpool, go! It’s a great place to visit and take photos, you could even make a holiday out of it ! Please remember to geo tag your photos!

    Changing Seasons: Durham in Autumn

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.
