Map It and Tag It Rumble: Chester!

3

Chester is the place that I seem to spend most of my time in. Whether it be on a night out or exploring the back streets to find something I haven't seen before. It's also a place where I seem to test most of my cameras too.

“Chester is a city in Cheshire, England. Lying on the River Dee, close to the border with Wales, it is home to 77,040 inhabitants, and is the largest and most populous settlement of the wider unitary authority area of Cheshire West and Chester, which had a population of 328,100 according to the 2001 Census. Chester was granted city status in 1541.”

A few Mini Diana shots.
The one of the first rolls that graced my Fisheye.

I also test film around Chester

Chester Cathedral, an abandoned factory and the Odeon Cinema.

And as I mentioned I have the odd night out in Chester too…

The Voodoo Beach Rockabilly Night at Da Meltin Pot, up on the rows of Chester.

So whether you are in Chester on a night out or you want to explore the Roman remains of Chester, please remember to geo tag your photos. :)

It's been a boiling, scorching, baking hot summer here in the Philippines since March, and believe it or not, I haven't been to the beach yet. I'm going to do something about that, but not without making another playlist for the trip! This time, I decided to make a mix inspired by the summer vacations of my younger days.

The World, According to Herr Willie: The Amazon

It was the Amazon which I had longed for my whole life. And when it was finally a set deal that I will travel to Brazil with two of my best friends for the Copa do Mundo (World Cup), we really had to start our adventure in the Amazon. I had known about this magical place deep in the rainforest. There was a lodge run by local people of indigenous background, with wooden houses that float on the water and a limited number of visitors. It was eco-tourism as how it should be. To preserve and to celebrate one of the most impressive locations I have seen so far.

Fresh From the Lab: Take Off Your Socks and Shoes - It's Summertime!

Every year, just a few weeks before summer, I dedicate a series of photos to the joy of living outdoors in this good season. One of the most common pleasures is taking one's socks and shoes off to feel the first warm rays of sun on our pale feet, which were prisoners inside shoes throughout the long winter season. So, it's time to take off your socks and shoes and relax barefoot! Where? Of course, on the walls surrounding the beautiful lake! Take a look!
