In June 2009, twenty-five lomographers set out to capture 25 different locations in Singapore with a Holga. It was the first event of its kind and it sure got the media attention it deserved.
The Holga Singapore Tour got the attention of Channel News Asia, an english language pan-Asian news network based in Singapore.
The 2 minute long interview was aired on 23 August 2009 ‘Singapore Tonight’. Channel News Asia is the longest-running flagship daily local and business news program that provides a round-up of all the day’s events around Singapore and coverage of breaking news.
Who knew that by viewing the through a plastic lens, you’ll get the country to view you through one of the most prominent news network.

There are many possible reasons for taking pictures. It could be to document an event, to capture breathtaking scenery, to preserve a fond memory, or simply, to have a snapshot of someone close to your heart. Whatever the reason, there's almost always a story behind a picture, no matter how significant or trivial it may be. And for lomographers, nothing beats the feeling of having that story unfold in your hand, in the form of a print. If you want a quick keepsake from that treasured moment or a snapshot of that special someone though, you can have it instantly, through Lomo'Instant Stories!
