If you're looking around to see if this camera is worth buying, before you read what I have to say, I must tell you...YOU NEED TO GET THIS CAMERA!
Since I saw photos from the Horizon Perfekt for the first time I knew this was a camera I had to have. Then I set my goals to publishing articles and winning rumbles to be able to buy it! Because as the name suggests, it is simply PERFEKT!
The camera has an incredible panoramic view, that with only nearing your eye to the viewfinder, you’ll wish your eyes would see like that forever. It’s completely manual and versatile for any lighting situation. It has a swing lens that will have everyone talking while capturing a 120º view with a 28mm lens. The aperture goes from 2.8 to 16 which allows for a great variety in depth of field. The shutter speed varies from 1/500s to 1/2 of a second, which is great for capturing really fast action or great night time colors.
The camera also comes with a few filters for density and a YG filter. The YG filter is great to use with regular color negative film because it produces results almost like cross processed film!
Apart from the technical specifications, it’s worth mentioning that this is a camera that produces some of the greatest images I have ever seen and that I’ve been able to take. The photos are always crystal clear and sharp, since the control is fully manual and it’s all left up to the photographer to get the perfect exposure.
