Fantasy Double Exposure

28

I felt that life is repetitive and I am consumed by work! I would like to hold my camera and shoot something in order to let off some steam but I know that my photos are quite ordinary. Once, when I had completed another roll of snapshots, I decided to rewind the film and produce a roll of special double exposures.

During the second round of exposures, I chose the largest aperture and set focus to the minimum focusing distance. I wanted the night lights to appear on my doubles. As the second exposures took place at night, nothing much except the light source will appear in the photos.

I experimented with many different combinations, daylight, indoors, sunset. My favorite is the sunset and light combo. I am very pleased with the outcome as the combination gave the fantasy, dreamy feel.

I believe everyone has been to Taipei’s Lomography Store and took a photo with this mirror! With the additional light flare, an ordinary group photo will become more unique and special!

I am very pleased with the first double exposure experiment. I can begin to think about how to collaborate with others on the doubles.

Below are some Lomography cameras with multiple exposure functions. With them, you can experiment with double exposures yourself!

LC-A+
Sprocket Rocket
Horizon Kompakt
Diana F+
Diana Mini
Fisheye 2
