Mamac

The MAMAC (Museum of Modern Art and Contemporary Art) was created by the architects Yves Bayard and Henri Vidal, and was inaugurated on June/ 21/ 1980. It is located at the centre of Nice, in the heart of Acropolis. It consists of four towers of 20 meters which are connected by glazed footbridges on a height of 30 metres. The buildings have 4000 m² for nine showrooms on three levels, plus a level terrace. It's a very nice building and I like to take pics of it.

Works presented: work of new realistic, artists of pop-art, the room Yves Klein, the American abstraction, minimalism… beautiful works!! I like its architecture, moreover its terrace offer a panoramic sight of 360° of Nice. It is a place where you should not be without your Lomo, you could shoot architecture, art, landscapes, people…and more.
