If negatives are what you want to talk about , then by far one of the most faithful is the Kodak ProImage.
If someone asks me what my favorite negative is, I don’t dare hesitate to say that it is the Kodak ProImage. This film is faithful. Cheap, excellent and versatile.
The Kodak ProImage is ISO 100, which gives a definition without grain at all in good light conditions. It is inexpensive and is still in production. It is sold in packs of 5 rolls and also by unit. It is the most versatile film. I do experiment with ProImage. The home Redscale, the double exposures with Colorsplash tipster/2010/05/06/dobles-exposiciones-con-colorsplash, etc. And I always get results that make me happy.
This film behaves differently depending on the camera and light, but it always delivers excellent surprises.
What I like about ProImage are the results by forcing it by 3 steps, ie, occupy it like a roll of ISO 800. The colors often seems like a cross-processed slide film.
I invite to give credit to this film and use it while it is still in the market.
