Enchanting us with her personal and endearing Lomographs is susielomovitz from Spain! She describes herself as just a casual snapshooter but her output certainly says anything but! Let's here more from her...
REAL NAME: Susana Rodrigo Durán
Tell the community a little bit about yourself and maybe something about you we would never have guessed.
I love to eat ham and cheese sandwiches, especially those made in the bars of Madrid, we call them “SANDWICH MIXTO”, try them if you ever come.
How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you get into this whole thing?
2 years? Very bad memory, I don’t know it exactly. My brother gave me the Diana Deluxe kit and after that I’m Lomo addict!!!!
How will you celebrate the holiday season? Will you be getting together with family and friends and do you have anything special planned?
I’m spending holidays with my family. My special plan is to decorate my new apartment, I just moved with my boyfriend two month ago and it’s our first Christmas living together. Wooohoooo! We’ll have the most beautiful Christmas tree ever!
Describe if you can your personal shooting style. Are you a classic snap shooter, experimental lab rat or just plain up for anything?
Oh… I don’t know if I can… Is joyful snap shooter? If it is, that’s my style.
If you had to choose one- (yes, just one) shot – what would be your favorite photo from the ones you took this year?
I’m really proud of this one:
We ask for a photo selection that you feel is kind of a recap of your year. If you could make a soundtrack for your photos / year what would these songs be? Any reason in particular? (3 songs title & artist please).
Just one song: My Favorite Things by Pomplamoose. It’s the perfect music for my pics.
What is your weapon of choice when it comes to your favorite camera and film?
Diana F+ & Kodak Ektachrome E100G 120mm & Sun.
If you could choose any Lomographic analogue goodie to receive this year (hint, hint family & friends) what would it be?
The Horizon Perfekt.
What is the strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest photographic/Lomographic moment you had this year?
I think the most special moment was when a really nice guy asked me: “Are you Susie? I like your photos”. I really enjoy that people enjoy my photos and it’s nice to get to know in person the people who view my photos online.
Are you making any New Years resolutions for 2011 that you would like to let the community on?
Nope! I already quite smoking!
Any parting words of wisdom to all your Lomography friends out there?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! (I read that from a Hallmark greeting card) :P.
