Seattle Lomo Adventure Club December Meet

2

The Seattle Lomo Adventure Club is meeting once again for more fun and frolics. Come join us at the Artfest Annex down in the heart of Pioneer Square. The November meet was a huge success with lots of new faces. The December meet is sure to be even better!

Come join us at our Loft in Pioneer Square for our December Meet. The Annex is a perfect base of operations for our Seattle Lomo Adventure Club. We have plenty of space…a fridge for beer or other beverage you choose to bring…and we are in the heart of historic Seattle, so we have plenty of great photo opportunities.

The November meet was a great success. We had lots of new faces and spent some time with our projector going over features of the website and also taking tours of microsite galleries for many of the different lomo cameras available.

At the December meet, after a photo crawl around the neighborhood, we will be having a slideshow of pics sent to me by attendees (please send me up to five shots that you would like to share with the group.)

We will also continue discussions and exploration into any subject and/or camera you may want to learn more about. This is a great group for all levels of experience, so don’t hesitate attend even if you have never picked up a camera before.

We also do a monthly challenge. This month’s theme is “Dreamland.” It’s very simple. Just bring in one printed photo that you think best represents the theme, and one roll of film. We put all the shots out on a table and then we walk around and vote with our rolls of film. You get to keep any film used to vote for your photo.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through my email, or through my lomohome: tracyvmoore.

Hope to see you there!

Is there some sort of fee or dues for this group? I just stumbled across this info by googling "lomography seattle"...was trying to find a store! I thought for sure Seattle would be hip enough to have a walk-in lomo paradise...but this group sounds like something I would thoroughly enjoy!
