To go out and make good memories is one of the many goals one has to do when the summer season starts and Lomography will make it more special for everyone who pushes the shutter button!
Arguably the most favourable season for any photographic opportunities could be the month of June. As you don’t have to worry about any insufficiency when it comes to taking photographs as the sun will never leave you in the dark and more possibly will get you burnt and overexposed (i.e., lightleaks and such happy accidents!) so wearing a sunscreen is an optional matter.
But blackcoffeeandtantrum had a much better idea on dodging off the heat of the sun and that is by diving headfirst into the pool, it might hurt at first, but once you get the hang of things and made yourself comfortable, then it would just be the best time for Lomo LC-A+ w/ Krab to join you in the water as well!
So what else do the other megalomomaniacs had been up to during the good month of June? Let’s then take a look back at those fantastic snaps that made us “like-ing” for more!

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.
Aside from the Magazine, going through the User Blogs is another way to keep tabs on the latest happening in the community. Throughout the year, it was filled with articles on new discoveries, thought-provoking opinions, and exciting exhibits that surely entertained, challenged, and inspired everyone. Let's take a look back at the fruitful year through the most popular user blogs of 2014.
Some people say instant photos bring about a feeling of nostalgia. Although I often use the Lomo'Instant Camera with different crazy accessories such as the Splitzer and color gels, I have to agree there is something about it — dreamy vignettes maybe? — that always makes me want to go back in time and experience it all over again. In the name of analogue photography and good old memories, we passed by some classic spots in Vienna and took one shot after the other. Take a closer look at our gallery.
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)

As Steve Jobs puts it, "creativity is just connecting things." It's all about tracing one's experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's already known to establish new things. The Lomography community is no stranger to these instances. In fact, the community is filled with brilliant minds who are always ready to refine existing techniques and look for innovative ways to express their visions and ideas. Here are just a few of the creative lomographers we've come to love over the years.
In 1926, John Dixon-Scott started going around his native Britain in search of urban and rural scenes to photograph. His goal was to record something of the country he believed was under the threat of change. By 1946, he had over 14,000 photos ranging from posed portraits to idyllic landscapes.
In summer last year, my sister and her lover exchanged "I do's" after five colorful years of happiness and making future plans. It was the perfect occasion to grab some of my cameras and eternalize one of the most beautiful days not only of her life, but also mine.
He joined the Community not only for the crazy photographs but also for the creative and informative tipsters. In fact, one of his goals is to try out as many tipsters as he can. Let's get to know our Newcomer of the Week from Leipzig, Germany, elimpacto!
