Already Missing Summer? Come to Costa da Caparica!

7

Is it Summer? Is it Autumn? Is it Winter or is it Spring? It just does not matter because you can come to Costa da Caparica's beach anytime of the year, anytime you want!

I go to this beach everytime I feel like watching the waves or everytime I just need to study. Even if it’s Summer or Winter, I go there and I just feel calmer and more relaxed. In the Summer, you can take long walks on the beach, eat an ice cream in one of the several beach bars or simply go to the beach and have fun with your friends, enjoying the sun.

In the Winter, when the weather gets colder, you can go to beach to take pictures or just relax and enjoy the beautiful beach on winter time.

My favourite part of Winter is go to the beach when no one else does, be there all alone, walking, enjoying the waves just for me, feeling the breeze on my face and feeling completely carefree =)

Love the article 'cause I can relate. The winters and springs are the same here in San Diego, CA. We don't "cold" winters (a little brisk, yea) so the beach, waves, seals, and birds all make for the perfect destination to relax and get away.

@biergoggles, yep exactly =) I mean, we have cold winters (not as cold as russia, for example, obviously), but they're still hot enough to take a walk on the beach and enjoy it =)

The New Petzval Lens Through the Seasons

The New Petzval Lens is not only known for its elegant brass exterior, but most importantly for the swirly bokeh effect it can bring to photographs. It makes a great portrait lens and performs exceptionally when taking photos of subjects against textured or lit backgrounds, day or night. And it does all these, in wet or dry weather; in any season – winter, spring, summer, or fall.

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
