Color your night with fascinating neon at an old historic building Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad at Dataran Merdeka , Kuala Lumpur. If you want to know more about Dataran Merdeka, you can read reinertlee's article.
He had described more about it.
I went here to experiment bulb mode using my FED5B .I chose Dataran Merdeka because it is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur City. Sure there will be a lot of vehicles around here even though it was night. By the time I arrived there, I was hypnotized by the random neon color up all around the Sultan Abdul Samad’s building.
Yeah! I can guarantee that all the long exposure lover would love to spend the night here. I don’t have any tripod and I remember one of Lomography’s rule , "Dont think just shoot " so I just set the shutter speed to B mode and shoot the scene. Although the FED5B is a rangefinder camera, “forget all the rules”.
I forgot to bring my lovely Holga to experiment “holgarama” . I’m sure it will be great with the combination of many colors ! For those Lomographers outside Malaysia , this place is highly recommended to record your amazing moments in Malaysia. =D
PS: the road in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is closed every weekend but you can get here by walking. PPS: You can check reinertlee's article here !

This article is a tribute to the street and humanist photographer Sabine Weiss. Considered a living legend in street photography, she likes to photograph daily lives of people, trying to capture the emotions she recognizes around her. Weiss like to photograph people of all ages but she especially loves to take photos of children, masterfully immortalizing their spontaneous gestures and emotions. For this article, I was inspired by one of her rare sports photos of some children practicing judo. Do you want to know more about this great artist? Well, read on!
