Frogner Park, Olso, Norway

3

The Frogner Park is a public park located in the Norwegian capital of Oslo. It is the world’s largest sculpture park by a single artist . This park is famous for it’s 212 bronze and granite sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland.

Vigeland was also in charge of the design and architectural layout of the park. The Vigeland Park was mainly completed between 1939 and 1949. Most of the sculptures are placed in five units along an 850 meter long axis: The Main gate, the Bridge with the Children’s playground, the Fountain, the Monolith plateau and the Wheel of Life.

The Flash gallery continues with Vigeland’s sculptures depicting the many relationships and cycles of life. The park is open all year at all times and is a popular recreation area.

Exciting swirling bokeh effects - DC Watch's test shots with the Lomography X Zenit Petzval Lens

This new Petzval lens is a revival of a lens that was created in the 19th century. The optics has come to life again with the help of a crowdfunding website and all the backers that have supported this project. The production is done by one of Russia’s lens companies – Zenit. We lent out our prototype Petzval lens to DC Watch, one of the largest digital camera online magazines in Japan. Check out their results after the jump.

A Salute to the Masters: Ducks (A Tribute to Henri Cartier-Bresson)

This article is dedicated to arguably one of the most famous street photographers in the world, Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004). On this occasion, I felt obliged to write a tribute to this great artist whom I consider the "Mozart of Photography." His photos are inimitable, and to try to reproduce his innate sense of composition, harmony, and choice of the right moment is but an illusion. So I chose an unusual way to pay tribute, the only way possible for me. Take a look!
