Doubles with a Museum

3

Have you ever been to a Art Museum were you just feel like you've already seen every painting and every work of art they're offering? Well it's time to spice things up a bit.

I went on a trip to NYC and visited quite a few museums, and after a while I felt like every painting looked just like the other, so I decided to spice things up a bit. Quite simple really.

Most lomographic cameras have the gift of producing wonderful multiple exposures, so why not renovate art? Take a photo of your favorite work of art and hit that multiple exposure button at the bottom of your Lomo LC-A+ and mix it with real life, or another work of art. Easy as that! You’ll be amazed with the modern works of art you’ll produce!

@wallflowersforjane thanks! the lc-a+ has a light meter which controls the shutter speed automatically depending on the amount of light it needs to get the right lighting so there's no bulb mode :) but in the case of a camera only with N and B setting, then yes, Bulb mode would be needed :)

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.

    Chemical Manipulations with the Lomo’Instant

Perhaps you’ve already had chance to try light painting, multiple exposures and long exposures with your Lomo’Instant, but what can you experiment with next? Well, that’s exactly the thought I had which led to giving this Tipster a go. I wanted to shoot Lomo’Instant photos which felt a bit “messier” than what I’m usually used to and to use a technique which would open up new possibilities with the kinds of images I could create with my favorite instant camera. Well, here I go!

    Bite-Size Fiction: Spectre

Ever since she started working late hours Tammy had inevitably acquired the habit of staying up into the wee hours of the night, doing nothing but catch up on her favorite websites, eat, and watch television. When nothing good’s on TV or in the Internet, however, she liked to hang out at her room’s balcony, sneakily smoking a cigarette or two while musing about all sorts of things.
