This exclusive resort only opens its gate to its members and their listed guests. It was a beautiful resort with white sand and clear waters but with several man-made pools to ensure everyone’s enjoyment! So make sure you know someone who's a member so you can pay Anvaya Cove a visit!
Just as the summer season in the Philippines was about to end (and my birthday nearing), I planned a quick beach getaway with my friends! I got us listed as guests in Anvaya Cove for a day where we just relaxed, enjoyed the whole afternoon “wining, dining and unwinding.”
The Anvaya Cove is a 320-hectare residential-resort community with a view of the beach and mountainsides in Morong Bataan developed by Ayala Land, Inc. It’s Beach and Nature Club is where all of the facilities can be accessed which included various pools for kids and for adults (and the heated pools for couples! ;). This is also where the restaurant is and where the bathhouses are located.
Truly a luxurious resort, it has a different atmosphere from public beaches that were used to. You can just lay back and relax and fully appreciate the view (and excellent service).
Where are you headed to this summer? Where I'm from summer has ended too soon, so I'm still daydreaming of sand and seafoam. I decided to check out the archives for some cool beach-y snapshots and came across a lot of interesting underwater photos! Check out my finds after the jump; hopefully this list will inspire you to grab a Fisheye Sub or a Krab, along with your Fisheye cameras and LC-A+, for some underwater adventure.

Lomography's Optics Head Cat Ong shot moving lights, shadows and distant views to test the optic capacities of the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens 2.8/32M. Though drawn to precise zone focusing and aperture values, he tried to be more intuitive while walking around town with the Minitar-1 Art Lens. He took incredibly detailed photos under the Hong Kong sun and through the haze of Vienna.
In this article, I'll show you how the Lomo LC-A loaded with the versatile Ilford HP5+ can make the most out of a hazy morning. To capture the whirlwind of a bicycle race, I pushed the film to ISO 800. The legendary Minitar 1 lens and this classic Ilford film are a perfect combination if you love black and white photos.
Did you have a blast celebrating all things analog last Film Photography Day? We highly suggest bringing out more bottles of champagne and tossing the confetti once more. The party is just starting for our winners!
In spite of being a trained photographer, Ines quit her job and continued with photography only as a hobby. She still finds time to create beautiful, expressive portraits, which she recently did this in her hometown, Brunswick, and transformed the city into a quintessential dream setting with a unique swirly bokeh effect. Her weapon of choice? The New Petzval Art Lens, of course!
Film has soul, that second layer of grain and haze. It is a time capsule if we're sentimental, a happy pill if nostalgic. But what if we exaggerate this time-worn look? Imperfection becomes a creative element.
