Downtown Dietrichstein, in the Middle of Graz

2

I live in the middle of Graz. I've been to a lot of cities in my 24 years of life: cities like Vienna, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and a lot more. But to me, Graz is the most beautiful of them all. It has the nicest people living there, it's very green. It's just great.

Three of the pictures were taken with a Zorki 4, one with the Smena 8M and one with the Fisheye 2. They show you my direct neighborhood, which is the Dietrichsteinplatz in the center of Graz and is spotted 5 minutes aways from my tiny flat.

My favorite picture here is the one with the “Taskin” sign. It’s a Turkish deli in the building next to where I live. I think I shop there at least 2 or 3 times a day, just getting some fresh fruits or vegetables and ordering yummy pita bread.

The Fisheye photo shows the opera house. The other three pictures show the Jakominiplatz, which the main hub for public transportation in the city, and some corners around this place.

As you can see, the Fisheye photo was taken at night, with the bulb setting. The other 4 pictures were taken around 5-5:30am, around sunrise at the beginning of July. University was about to end, with just one exam to take. After a night full of studying and caffeine I decided to use my insomnia for something creative and productive instead of torturing myself with early morning TV or something pointless like rolling around in bed and trying to sleep, so i took my Zorki 4 and Smena 8M and walked for an hour and a half through my beloved hometown before finally getting tired and going to bed.

Lomography x Zenit New Petzval Lens: Wandering Through The Big Apple

There’s something about New York that attracts people, something that makes both visitors from the most bucolic places and tourists from the most cosmopolitan of cities fall in love. Countless movies and television programs have been filmed in New York, and so many songs have been written in reminiscence of the place. It’s not just the Empire State Building, Times Square or Broadway; there’s something special about the streets and the people who walk on them that make spectators stop, look, and listen.

My Day in Analogue: Living Between Three Cities - Bandung, Bogor, and Jakarta

For the past three months, I've been living alternately between three cities: Bandung, Bogor, and Jakarta. I'm originally from Bandung. I now work in Bogor, sometimes in Jakarta. I could be in Bogor on a Friday, Bandung on a Saturday, and Jakarta on a Monday. Shuttling between these three cities, I don't forget to document what I see and experience with my LC-Wide.
