Pictures That Shaped Lomography 1993

Popular culture experienced sweeping trends and news in 1993. Sci-fi series and soon-to-be-massive hit, X-Files aired for the first time, the United States welcomed a young and enigmatic Bill Clinton as the 42nd president, everyone was going gaga over the rom-com movie Sleepless in Seattle and the airwaves was dominated by Tag Team's "Whoomp There It Is."

And while all these things are happening left and right, people from all over the world continued to express themselves by capturing moments using their cameras. From casual snapshots of friends, loving portraits of family, or just a stoic view of the scenery, people went through film roll after film roll.

What a colorful time it was for the world and Lomography as well. The Lomographic Society just turned one in 1993 and there's no other way to celebrate it than with equally colorful photographs.
