The Spinner's day out in Legoland

2

After flirting with a prototype many months before the release, i finally got my hands on a nice new (and improved) Spinner 360! A day out in Legoland was the best place to check the potential of this analogue weapon!

Please note that these were scanned before the times of the digitaliza so sprockets were cropped

It was my son's 7th birthday and he’d been asking to go back to legoland since i took him 3 years earlier.

In true British style the weather wasn’t good, the food was dreadful and we were surrounded by moaning Brits.
None-the-less we all had a great time!

The spinner was a huge hit. Some families looked away in disgust as took out my long black stick, others asked what the hell it was. My son was already an expert and his friends thought i needed to connect it to a computer to get the images.

Check out some shots!

Also check out some shots from Nil, another young Lomographer and old-time friend of Noitheboy

Not knowing exactly how to do deal with its odd appearance, Nadica first regarded the Lubitel 166B as a complete monstrosity. She left it untouched on her shelf for months after receiving it as a gift. After using other Lomo cameras and getting familiar with the rules on exposure, she finally had the courage to test it. Find out what made stacy_mcpommes fall in love with the Lubitel 166B in this installment of Weapon of Choice!

This new Petzval lens is a revival of a lens that was created in the 19th century. The optics has come to life again with the help of a crowdfunding website and all the backers that have supported this project. The production is done by one of Russia’s lens companies – Zenit.
