Agfa Silette LK Sensor

8

One of the latest if not the last Silette LK I had as a gift a year ago, but never really got around shooting with it much, not until now. And this is our story thus far.

Parator, 1 – 1/300sec,,B shutter. Afga Color Agnar 1:3,8, 45mm lens. Produced in the early eighties, Plastic body, metal chrome finished top and bottom plates and a black leatherette covering. The red “Sensor” shutter release button is the distinctive mark of Agfa cameras in the seventies.

In summer of 2009, I bought the Diana F+ in Madrid and went out with my friends as they saw me fiddling and snapping stuff with the camera. So, after one of my friend realised that I am into this analogue stuff, come the 31st of October of 2009 (my birthday=Halloween), he gave me a present and it was this awesome Agfa camera with a 45mm lens. I’ve never touch it until one month ago though until I found it again at my room. It is an amazing camera.

Here are some pictures with it! LOMO ON!!

And if you want the manual of this camera, here it goes: http://www.butkus.org/chinon/agfa/agfa_silette_lk_sensor/agfa_silette_lk_sensor.htm

Hi! I have a question; I own this beautiful camera for a year now and I am very happy about it. But a couple weeks ago the camera refused working. The handle to roll the film to the next frame just blocked, I cannot move it in any direction. I am wondering if you have any idea how I should fix this or if you had a same problem? I like to use this camera for a few more years.
    Thank you!
