Amber is Lithuania's gold and this museum holds every kind of amber. This time we visited this park early in the morning, so we where alone. It's a nice feeling when you can hear only the birds and how waves are breaking in to the beach. Amber Museum Park is huge - it starts from the main street of Palanga town and goes till the beach.

You really need to see the Birute hill and temple, Roses Park, youth stairs and Jurate and Kastytis statue. Kastytis is a whipsnake, it’s a creature from an old tail, so he’s like a prince who you need to kiss. Don’t be afraid – every Lithuanian once kissed him :). Inside the park you will find a lot of little ponds, some bridges and a lot of benches. It’s a park for lovebirds so don’t forget to take champagne and truss of grapes. The last but not the least – every time I visit Palanga Amber park I find out a lot of new wonderful places. Next time I will go to the park by bike, because I will repeat – this park is huge.
For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
Branded as "The Reanimated Film," KONO! Film is hand-rolled and made of special materials which are rarely (or never) produced for "normal“ photography. Rather, the materials were intended for the motion picture industry and the results can vary depending on how the film is used. Learn more in this interview with the founder of KONO! Film, Uwe Mimoun.
Mel Brackstone introduced herself as an "old woman with a love of the surreal." Her energy is palpable; with the soft delicacy in her photos, she comes across as an old soul that sees through young eyes. She is self taught and lives in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, She discovered the Petzval Lens in 2014.
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
Whether it embodies something that's light as a feather or dreaming on cloud nine, show us your best analog shots in relation to the theme "lightness" and be rewarded with great products from the creative start-up Crispy Wallet as well as prizes from Lomography.
On the last Saturday of July, the old district of Borgo Vico hosted an art and music festival. There was also a graffiti contest, and the winner will exhibit his work at the Como Business Center for Expo 2015. I used my Zorki 4 loaded with an Ilford FP4+ film to document the event. I focused on the young artists who, amid the swirl of activity, had to concentrate on their large-scale pieces.
