One early morning on June 15th, my friend & I woke up to go to the Diana+ safari in NYC. I had no Diana+ experience before this day, I couldn't wait to jump in. So we took the 3-4 hour ride from Worcester MA to NYC. We ended up at B&H Photo Video store.

One early morning on June 15th, my friend & I woke up to go to the Diana+ safari in NYC. I had no Diana+ experience before this day, I couldn’t wait to jump in. So we took the 3-4 hour ride from Worcester MA to NYC. We ended up at B&H Photo Video store.

A Jewish owned store, that had a ton of awesome cameras, video cameras, computers, and best of all, tons of free candy (be sure to stock up, its wicked good). So anyways we went to a little room with about 20 people in, it ready for the Diana Safari. We met Michael Kuhle, he gave us a history of the Diana, explained how it worked, and then let us borrow a Diana+ and some Fuji Film. Then we were off. we went down to the James A. Farley Post Office, around The City, then down to a dog park by some docks, and then took pictures by the pier. Pretty much anywhere in new york city is Lomogenic, But its good just to walk around and take a shot when you feel like it. but don’t stay in the same play the whole time, go down to the seaside or docks, that’s what I suggest.

Pros: Its NYC, there’s tons of things to take pictures of, building, cars, people, the Pier.

Cons: NYC Smells. oh and after I came back from the Safari, I had a Diana F+ in a week.
