What is "SNATCH!":http://www.lomography.com/snatch?

What is SNATCH!?

It could be an exclusive Lomographic product, a dirt cheap bundle or freebie Piggies. Available only to the first few people who spot it and just for a very short time.

Keep watching! We are playing hide and seek with you with these offers. Snatch! offers will be hidden in blog posts, online galleries, articles in the online Magazine, perhaps even in the Comments… It’s up to you to find them and snap them up.

Exclusive Snatch! products will appear on shop.lomography.com for just a snippet of time and so you will have to act quickly to make them yours.

If you see a Snatch! Piggy giveaway graphic (like the one below) somewhere on the website – DON’T PANIC! Just send us an email saying “SNATCH!” To snatch@lomography.com as quick as your little fingers will allow you to type. Just remember to include your username in the email!

Keep checking www.lomography.com/snatch to be sure you never miss one of these fast and feverish offers.

Snatch! will also tip you off before exciting, new products are launched on Lomography.com.

    snatch piggy is elusive!

is it only in beta lomography or is the original website involved as well?

@ everyone! This time Snatch! was a piggy giveaway - but next time it could be an exclusive lomographic goodie or a bargain shop buy. You have to keep your eyes on the Snatch! microsite - www.lomography.com/snatch. We will also hide hints to Snatch! offers all over the site - so when you see a big Snatch! graphic or a in-yer-face Piggy graphic with 'grab it' (or something similar)- go directly to the Snatch! microsite and see what is going down!

oook, thanks! i definitely didn't get that it could be the piggy on the snatch micro site... thought it could only be in posts! and thanks for the clarification on that it will be in new posts only!

i'm getting the feeling i'll never see them and will be continually disappointed - just like when I was a kid and my mum saw a bunny at the side of the road. we'd always drive past before I could catch a glimpse....

will the international time differences not mean some people are at a disadvantage?

  16. ca-ro
    ca-ro ·

@ nooknook - oh no! You won't miss the bunny, I mean, the Snatch! ;) The piggy giveaway was just one aspect of Snatch! When we plan launch products on Snatch! there will be warning so everyone can have a fair chance. Other things like Snatch! challenges and freebie piggies will be more random - but that's part of the game! Don't worry - we have the international time zone issue in mind. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Transient Living: Getting to Know the Neighborhood in Denver, Colorado

Editor's Note: The past several years saw Maliha frequently moving from one place to another, a sort of nomad who likes the thrill of starting anew and finding her place in every city she stays at. In the last decade she has spent in the USA, Maliha has stayed at six different cities in five different states. Currently, Maliha is based in Denver, Colorado, and "Transient Living," a new series in the Lomography magazine, documents her experiences and the ways that she has come to call this city her home.

Stop bath is a type of chemical used in the darkroom for processing black and white film, aptly named as such because it halts the development of the images. In this case, stop bath is also part of the title that Korean analogue street photographer Soomin Yim has given her body of work, "Stop Bath the City," to represent the forgotten faces of people in the city amid rapid modernization, captured and immortalized on black and white film.

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
