Round and round it goes ... The Fisheye perspective is nearly a 180-degree of distorted fun and goodness, and for this rumble we wanted to see shots taken with the Fisheye/Fisheye 2 cameras. Come and see the top 3 winning entries!
The Fisheye perspective sure is interesting. Here we have your subject tightly smooshed in a circle, with a 180-degree perspective and barrel distortion. During nighttime shooting, you can add light streaks if you wish, or multiple-expose to add up extra detail. It’s a lot of fun with the Fisheye – as evidenced by all the tagged photos in our “Fisheye, Round” pool!
Here are the 3 winners, each reeling in 10 Piggies each!
For our winners, please head on to our new Member’s Benefits FAQ section for queries on Piggy Points and further information. Congratulations and thank you for continuously supporting our rumbles!
Just last month, we gave you the opportunity to win beautifully illustrated goodies from UK-based illustrator Helena Carrington. From over 1000 entries, Helena herself has personally picked her Top 3 images and we are happy to announce the winners of Helena Carrington notebooks and cushions.
We asked you if your photos were worthy of having their own exhibit, from the accidental shot that was taken from your hip or even the posed perfection you asked of your subjects. And you delivered! Check out the exhibit-worthy winners!
There is nothing better than a photo shot at the perfect moment. Henri Cartier-Bresson's principle on "The Decisive Moment" is a principle that we should still follow to this day. A perfectly-timed photo creates impact, whether it's one of a friend jumping into the pool or a couple emerging from the ceremony on their wedding day. For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time. And you showed us what it's like to be on time.
These photographs, recently digitized through the efforts of the Cushing Center at the Yale School of Medicine, come from the collection of patient photography of Harvey Cushing, M.D., the father of neurosurgery.
Originally from USA, biochemistry student Hayden Williams traveled halfway across the world to continue his studies in Hong Kong. Going to the Far East opened an opportunity for him to explore what he truly love the most: photography. His adventures in his current home, no matter how spontaneous, are captured in well-executed double exposure photographs. Meet our newcomer of the week, haydenwilliams.
