The Hidden Street Markets of Causeway Bay

2

Causeway Bay is a heavily built-up area of Hong Kong with hidden markets in the side-streets.

Causeway Bay is a heavily built-up area of Hong Kong, located on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. It`s covering parts of Wan Chai and Eastern districts.

Causeway Bay is one of Hong Kong’s major shopping districts and also one of the most crowded areas in Hong Kong since it contains many trendy shops. As such, it is a popular social spot for young people.

But if you have a look in the small side-streets and backyards, you`ll find a lot of small, but veeeery busy street-markets. They sell mostly food, but also clothes and household-stuff.

These side-street-markets are the best places to explore the local culture and cuisine.
Definitely a “must see” during your stay in HongKong
