Visit the Hermitage Museum, a major tourist attraction of St. Petersburg, and see one of the greatest art collections in the world. Housed in the opulent Winter Palace, the Hermitage Museum contains the works of important masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian.

Admire the masterpieces of Rembrandt, Rubens, French Impressionists and also works of Van Gogh, Matisse and Gaugin.

Considered to be one of the greatest museums in the world, the Hermitage is housed in five historical buildings including the Winter Palace – the residence of the Russian Tsars. It has over 3 million pieces of art with dates ranging from high antiquity to the present day. Among the Hermitage’s treasures are art works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt and Rubens. You can also admire works of impressionists and post impressionists such as Matisse and Picasso as well as many others.

So large is the art wealth in this museum that it has been calculated that if you decide to spend only one minute in front of each exhibit, you will have to stay in the Hermitage for 11 years!
