"Intro to Lomography" Workshop at B&H Event Space in New York.
What exactly is Lomography? In this comprehensive introduction to all things Lomographic, you’ll learn the history of the Lomographic Society, from its early days as an art project in Vienna, to its current status as an international analogue creative snapshot society counting over 1 million members around the world! We’ll go over all of their cameras, from it’s namesake the Lomo LCA, the multiple lens sensation, all through their lovingly created Diana +. Plus tips and tricks for bending each unique analogue camera to fit your own Lomographic desire. During the second half of the workshop, borrow a loaner camera, receive your free roll of film, and join us for a LomoJourney around Mid-town and experience the fun of Lomography first hand! Attendees are invited to bring their Lomographic cameras along for questions or tips on their use. Please have ID available so that you may borrow one of our lend-a-lomos during the safari portion of the workshop.
