Twosday Tuesday: Mirror, Mirror

Here at Lomography, we always like looking at the creative and random photos submitted by our community members. And, amusingly, we find that there are a lot of snapshots that bear a striking resemblance to one another – be it in the way they were composed or in idea – even though they were taken in different parts of the globe!

Try different angles and techniques for that perfect self-portrait. Be creative and you might just get a light bulb to switch on for a Eureka moment. These two photos for our _Twosday Tuesday_ series in the Lomography magazine entry this week hit gold with the use of mirrors for artistic and visually appetizing self-portraits.

Reflections and composition go hand in hand in this photo by *dakadev_pui*. This was taken using a *Fisheye No. 2* loaded with Kodak Elitechrome EBX film. The eye-popping saturation and contrast of this photo makes it stand out.

Mirrors make for great self-portraits but this photo from *evev* steps it up a notch with an artistic effect. This monochrome reflection self-portrait was taken with a *Holga 120 FN* loaded with Fomapan 100 film in Bangkok, Thailand.

Maybe great minds really do think alike.

Tune in next Tuesday for the next of twin photos! In the meantime, check out our Twosday Tuesday series in the Lomography magazine!
