Bandung City is home to a lot of talented lomographers and has unique spots yet to be explored.
Having a lomowalk almost every weekend has become a habit for us lomographers here in Bandung. At first, we only knew each other through lomography.com and the Facebook group. One time, we met and went for a lomowalk. We shared a lot of information about film and camera sellers, as well as recommended photo labs, inspirations, and good photo spots, among others.
Sometimes we walk around the city, explore the streets, go to a mall, or escape from the city. So many ideas come to me during lomowalks with my friends. My favorite camera is the LC-A+ RL paired with slide film because the results are really great.
I feel grateful for this city because it has a good photo lab, where other lomographers from the outer city also go to have their film developed. I think the price of developing here is cheaper than in other cities. We can wait around one hour and the film will already be developed.
With so many contributing factors, here are other talented lomographers from this city (I’m really sorry, I don’t have all of your faces in my shots).
There are a lot of places that have already been scheduled for Bandung lomographers to visit. Oh yes, fellas, adventure is out there!
Hello, fellow lomographers! To be honest, ever since I started working last year, I haven't been able to write a single analogue lifestyle piece. But today I decided to write something about my days, especially about my weekend in Bandung. It's not much but I take it as the start of a new beginning in writing all over again here. So, here's my weekend in Bandung!
Where do I begin? Believe me, I know many places in Bandung. From a cozy cafe to where the famous street food and maybe even drinks can be found, to places for lomowalks, it would be my pleasure to show you all around Bandung - the city I love and the city of love!
For the past three months, I've been living alternately between three cities: Bandung, Bogor, and Jakarta. I'm originally from Bandung. I now work in Bogor, sometimes in Jakarta. I could be in Bogor on a Friday, Bandung on a Saturday, and Jakarta on a Monday. Shuttling between these three cities, I don't forget to document what I see and experience with my LC-Wide.
Berlin is the capital and largest city of Germany. With its 3.5 million residents, it is also the second largest city in the European Union. Berlin has a lot to offer when it comes to culture as there are so many people from many different countries living and working together. Of course, Berlin is also home of Lomography Germany!
In the fourth and final installment of his Icelandic chronicles, lomographer Andrea Russo opens up about their continuous exploration of the country's unique and majestic landscape, shares his thoughts on Iceland being a vital source of inspiration and creativity for its artists, and hints on returning to the place that has captured his heart.
Vienna is the capital and largest city of Austria. It has been mentioned in a myriad of pop culture references in books, music, and film, and is also the home of the Lomography headquarters. The history of Vienna stretches back to a far 500 BC, which is why it’s no surprise that the city is steeped in rich, unique, and fascinating culture and history that has inspired artists of all generations.
Every summer, my soul screams for a lazy, hot day back at my parents' home, for some good food, relaxation, and catching up with childhood friends. This year is no different, so I went back down to my small hometown in the very northeast of Belgium to enjoy a perfect laid back day doing nothing and everything. And of course, I brought my analogue cameras along to eternalize all of these small but grand moments in life.
At the Auckland Zinefest 2014, photographer/lomographer Mike Kumagai took to the event to explore the indie world of self-publishing. Unique, eccentric, and with an attitude of doing something different - zines and Lomo share the perfect analogue lifestyle.
This is a story of me and Sardine, my first ever analogue camera. We've been traveling for thousands of miles and met a lot of friends. Even though I have better cameras, Sardine is the one camera that will always be in my heart! So once again, this is my story with Sardine
